Building A Championship Team
Loria transformed a relatively young, struggling baseball franchise into a competitive force. His ownership of the Florida, now Miami, Marlins brought a 2003 World Series championship over the New York Yankees in their home stadium in New York and later brought a much-praised baseball and event stadium to South Florida, as well as identifying major baseball talent that has impacted the game for decades. Loria has understood that success requires
patience, smart investments in talent, and a commitment to excellence that extends far beyond the field.
A Lifelong Passion for Art
Loria began his career discovering artistic masterworks and building relationships with the artists who created them. Traveling the world and visiting artists directly in their studios, he developed an eye for exceptional works and built lasting relationships with iconic artists like Henry Moore, Roy
Lichtenstein, Salvador Dali, Clyfford Still, Andy Warhol, Niki de Saint Phalle, and many others. Along the way, he learned how to evaluate talent, negotiate complex deals, and recognize value that others might miss.
